Stop keeping it real.

Byline: Kevin O'Sullivan

EVERYONE'S always droning on about the importance of being real.

I'm sick of it. On behalf of the world's frauds... all I am saying is give fakes a chance. And Coleen's Real Women can take a hike! Returning for a second series, Mrs WAG's repetitive ITV2 show offers free advertising to any company prepared to hand some rank amateur a modelling contract.

Babbling away in her difficult-to-decipher deep space Scouse accent, beaming Coleen seemed fascinated by the samey process of finding a sparkling new pin-up girl for jewellers H. Samuel.

I couldn't share her enthusiasm. Real people are so overrated.

That's why I'm such a fan of ITV2's sensationally meaningless Paris Hilton's British Best Friend - where celebrity fixated emptiness is the name of the shallow game. Tears as the bland bombshell told reject of the week Lydia: "TTYN!"

(Talk to you never).

Elsewhere on the inspirational reality scene, C4's headline-hungry Boys and Girls Alone revealed the bleeding obvious as we all realised other people's kids are seriously dull.

But isn't it great fun to see distressed children sobbing? Not really.

Pretty vacant... Paris
