Stop BNP, urges union.

Byline: Phillip Nifield

A TEACHERS' union will call on the Wales TUC Conference today to commit to supporting all unions in campaigning against the BNP in elections.

The NASUWT will bring the motion "Tackling Racism and Fascism" to the Llandudno gathering following a joint campaign with Unite Against Fascism to Stop the BNP in the recent Assembly elections.

The motion warns against complacency and commits the Wales TUC to supporting all unions in campaigning against the BNP at elections.

The union also called on Westminster and the Assembly not to separate teachers' conditions of service between Wales and England.
