Stone's triple deal; Inbrief.

DARLINGTON-BASED Stone Technical Services has won a trio of North-east contracts. Stone, which specialises in all aspects of high level maintenance, lightning conductor installation and steeplejack services, has been appointed to carry out a major shutdown of the chimney stacks at SRM in Sunderland, which handles the disposal of organic waste materials.

In North Tyneside, Stone has won the contract to install lightning protection at Longbenton Community College's new campus while in Berwick, Stone's specialists will carry out general high level repairs and lightning protection installation at the Swan Sports Centre. The new deals are worth in the region of pounds 40,000 to Stone, which now employs 24 staff..
