Still waiting for explanation on high speed rail; viewpoint.
It is blatantly unnecessary given the current rail system which has still to run affordably and profitably despite constant increased funding since privatisation.
It is clearly unaffordable as the money will be borrowed - inexplicable when drastic cuts are constantly being made to essential services to pay bankers and global debt.
It is logically unsound to claim creation of X number of jobs when money spent on necessary infrastructure to benefit the majority of people would provide these.
