Still time to enter.

THERE is still time for young people to enter our Christmas design competition and spread some festive cheer.

We are asking budding artists, aged up to 18, to create a Christmas banner to feature on the front page of our Christmas Eve edition.

The design must include the message "Merry Christmas to all our readers" and has to be 28cms wide by 6cms deep.

Youngsters can use pencil crayons, glitter, felt-tips or paint - the brighter, the better.

Entries must be sent by post to Nicola Weatherall at Evening Chronicle, Thomson House, Groat Market, Newcastle, NE1 1ED, by December 20. Please include your full name, age and home contact details on the back. We shall be contacting the winner on December 23.

The winner will be presented with a framed copy of their front page in the New Year.
