This estate planning software program is designed for the professional just getting started in estate planning as an additional client service or career path. The program is beginner basic and shows the client's estate tax problem and possible solutions. StepOne walks a planner through an estate case step-by-step providing a safety-net during a presentation. Information is provided in clear presentations to clients with easy-to-understand flowcharts. The program comes with an estate planning training guide. Features of the program include: On-screen flowcharts of estate planning scenarios and results; easy data entry; liquidity reports for each scenario; explanation text for each screen and scenario; printed client "take home" reports; ability to compare scenarios side-by-side; automatic date of death calculations; growth rates and calculated administrative expenses for both decedent and survivor. ViewPlan also provides a more complete estate planning system, the Estate Forecast Model for estate planners requiring more extensive reports.
