Steak burgers with garlic toast; RECIPE OF THE WEEK.

These all-steak burgers are a real summer treat, especially if you cook them on the barbecue. Serves 4. INGREDIENTS 500g lean beef mince (10% fat) 2 level teaspoons dried thyme 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce 4 tablespoons Greek yogurt, 0% Fat 1 tablespoons fresh, chopped parsley, 4 x 1-inch slices of a white French stick 1 clove garlic, peeled and halved salt and pepper to taste METHOD? Put the mince in a bowl, add the thyme, freshly ground salt and pepper and mix together. Using your hands shape the mixture into 8 patties, flattening slightly once shaped. Cover and chill for at least 15 minutes. ? Mix together the horseradish sauce, yogurt and parsley and set aside. Rub each slice of bread with the cut side of garlic.

. ? Brush a griddle or frying pan with the oil and heat until hot, add the burgers (or cook on the barbecue) and cook for 10 minutes turning once until brown. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Add the bread and cook for 3-4 minutes turning once until golden.

. ? Place a burger on each slice of bread and serve with the sauce.
