Staying dry.

Using input from tournament anglers, Simms created the new Pro Dry GORE-TEX Jacket. While inspired by pro anglers, the jacket definitely has a place in the saltwater fly-fishing market. It is constructed with GORE-TEX Pro Shell fabric technology and equipped with many useful features. You can keep track of time without removing or uncuffing the jacket, thanks to the clear watch window. On either side of the jacket are kill-switch lanyard D-rings to attach to the key of your vessel while running. For keeping your head dry, the jacket has a packable hood that's plenty big enough to go over just about any hat or cap. And if you like to keep gear like fly boxes and pliers handy, there are plenty of oversize pockets that can easily accommodate such items. $499.95; simmsfishing.com
