Static control system gets a power boost. (Auxiliaries).

A new, improved high-voltage power supply and control module are featured on the Virtual AC Intelligent Static Neutralizer system from Ion Industrial, Windsor Locks, Conn. Users can now connect a "daisy chain" of up to 400 in. of neutralizing bars to a single power supply. The improved model 8011 power supply weighs only 1.5 lb and is less than half the usual size. It can be mounted either directly on the bar or remotely with a short cable.

The system also provides real-time information on neutralizer efficiency, ion current flowing to the charged material, and system diagnostics. Improved controls include automatic shutoff in case of malfunction. Tel: (860) 292-6847, www.ion.com/industrial
