State revenue up 7 percent in December.

December net available general revenue reached $380.8 million, $27.3 million, or 7.7 percent, above revenue during the same month last year, according to a report by the state Department of Finance & Administration.

The monthly figure was also $33.1 million, or 9.5 percent, above forecast.

December gross general revenue reached $421.3 million, an increase of $44.1 million, or 11.7 percent, above last year, and $38.1 million, or 9.9 percent, above forecast.

Year to date, net available general revenue reached more than $2 billion, about $150 million, or 8 percent, above year-to-date figures at this time last year. That amount was also $90 million, or 5 percent, above the latest general revenue forecast.

Year to date, gross general revenue reached about $2.4 billion, up about $201 million, or 9 percent, above year-to-date figures at this time last year. Gross general revenue was about $109 million, or 5 percent, above the general revenue forecast.
