State of the art library opened at Indus Valley School.

KARACHI -- A state of the art and self access library at Indus Valley School (IVS) of Art and Architecture was inaugurated here Tuesday.

The revamped facility dedicated to Marium Abdullah, mother of the donours comprising former students of the school, is equipped with latest 15 core i7 computers alongwith other essential gadgets and updated fixtures.

Faculty members present on the occasion, including Prof Shehnaz Ismail and Dr Javaid Haider expressing their gratitude for the assistance extended by the Abdullah family sought a culture of community support for the educational institutions across the country.

This was cited to be a crucial investment for a viable future of the country.

Samina R Khan, Executive Director, IVS, said more than 12,000 books on differet topics were available at the library.

She mentioned that alongwith IVS students, reserachers and students from other institutions are provided all needed assistance to benefit from the resources at the disposal of the library.

The inauguration ceremony was followed by a book fair at the IVS.
