State's Attorney's report.

The following defendants were sentenced recently to the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Franklin County Circuit Court.

November 15

* Michael W. Wamick, 22, of Fairfield received a two-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine that occurred Sept. 15.

* Jeffery T. Pinkston, 32, of Cambria received a two-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine that occurred May 2, 2015.

* David W. Thorpe, 40, of Benton received a five-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of retail theft that occurred June 20, 2015. Thorpe also received concurrent two-year sentences for a charge of driving while license revoked that occurred Nov. 19, 2016, and a charge of domestic battery that occurred Aug. 22.

November 16

* Dennis Johnston, 40, of Buckner received a 24-month sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful violation of an order of protection that occurred May 10, 2013. Johnston also received a 24-month sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a four-year period of supervised release for a charge of domestic battery that occurred April 23, 2015.

November 28

* Ryan C. Godwin, 31, of Christopher received an 18-month sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance that occurred Aug. 28.

November 30

* James Ryan Burnett, 27, of Mulkeytown received a five-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a two-year period of supervised release for a charge of residential burglary that occurred Aug. 7. Burnett also received a five-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of theft over $500 but not more than $10,000 that occurred Aug. 2.

* Steven N. Boner, 33, of West Frankfort received a four-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a two-year period of supervised release for a charge of burglary that occurred Aug. 26.

December 5

* Codie Eugene Vickers, 46, of Royalton received a three-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance that occurred May 1, 2016.

* Alan W. Bennett, 48, of Benton received a 31-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a three-year period of supervised release for a charge of attempted first-degree murder that occurred May 28.

* Jackie J. Beavers, 43, of Energy received a four-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a two-year period of supervised release for a charge of burglary that occurred Aug. 21, 2016. Beavers also received a two-year sentence followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of theft over $500 but not more than $10,000 that occurred Aug. 16.

December 6

* Anthony M. Zarantonello, 38, of Zeigler received a two-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine that occurred Oct. 19.

December 7

* Jeffrey L. Boner, 50, of Zeigler received a two-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of driving while license revoked that occurred Dec. 1, 2016.

* Natasha L. Potts, 32, of Benton received a three-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine that occurred Nov. 9.

* Natasha L. Potts, 32, of Benton received a three-year sentence to the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of supervised release for a charge of theft that occurred June 21.
