Starwood reshuffles management team.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has reshuffled management roles across its portfolio of brands. The restructuring comes shortly after former CEO Frits Vaan Paaschen resigned from his position in February this year, leading Adam Aron to take up the CEO role on an interim basis.
John Peyron has been appointed as senior vice president, brands and shared services. He most recently led the company's Global Initiatives team, and will drive innovation across Starwood's portfolio of 10 brands.
Starwood veteran Dave Marr has been appointed global brand leader, Sheraton and Tribute Portfolio. Prior to the new role, he led Starwood's six full service brands in North America, including oversight of digital, loyalty, and partner marketing.
Jim Petrus has returned to Starwood to take on the role of global brand leader, St. Regis. He was previously with the group for more than a decade, serving as senior vice president, operations, with a responsibility for driving top line results across brands.
Hoyt Harper, who has been with Starwood for 24 years, has been named global brand leader, The Luxury Collection.
He most recently led Sheraton, and will now focus on brand strategy, including investment in renovations and conversions as The Luxury Collection reaches 100 hotels later this year.
Anthony Ingham has been named global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide, bring his experience in brand strategy and marketing communications to his new role.
Brian Povinelli will continue in his role as global brand leader, Westin and Le Meridien. Westin recently crossed its 200th hotel milestone and is slated for openings in markets such as Doha, Denver, and Jakarta, while Le Meridien will open more new hotels this year than any other year since Starwood acquired the brand.
Brian McGuinness will also remain in his role as global brand leader, specialty select brands, which include Aloft, Element, and Four Points.

We are investing in our global brand organisation to further invigorate innovation, marketing and guest experience across all of our more than 1200 Starwood hotels around the world."
