Chelsea fans said a fond farewell to short-term manager Guus Hiddink during a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers.

Hiddink has only been in charge at Stamford Bridge since February but he plans to return to his long-term contract as manager of the Russia national team this summer.

In his last game as manager at Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea fans sang the Dutchman's name and he responded by bowing to all four sides of the ground from the bench.

Chelsea did not look in any trouble on the field.

They took the lead in the fourth minute when Florent Malouda headed home powerfully from a cross.

And Nicolas Anelka added a second goal after the break.
