Muscat, Dec 6 (ONA) --- Stal Award for Promising Artists 2015 Exhibitionwill opentomorrow (Monday) in Stal Hall in the Sultan Qaboos Neighborhood under the auspices of Sayyid Tariq bin Shabib al-Said.

A group of young Omani artists will take part in the exhibition

One of the functions of Stal Hall is the development of new talents and the continuation to encourage and nurture those who show promising art talents, and who could become promising artists in the future. Stal Hall gave during this fall the opportunity for Omani young artists in the Sultanate to display their art in a remarkable exhibition through Stal Hall contest for young artists in 2015.

The exhibition offers a wide range of painting and photography works in order to blend the various media means with audio-visual aids that would address the exciting topics that instilled deep thinking and eye-opening philosophies. Despite the fact that the exhibition has been arranged and presented in a collective form, one artist will win the grand prize, along with prizes for the best concept and best show.

Stal Hall Director Hassan Meer said that the main objective of the award is not the crowning of one winner, but a motive to stimulate young Omanis to move forward and do more in order to hone critical thinking and address the crumbling global issues in order to influence the world through what is recreated by their fingertips as they are the flash of future and the ambassadors of tomorrow.

Stal Hall is an art gallery and workshop for artists at the heart of the capital, Muscat. Its mission is to provide the potentials and appreciation, awareness and enjoyment of the visual arts in all branches by providing a balanced focus on contemporary art in Oman and international sources.
