Stabbed boy died in arms of his mum.
The 14-year-old was knifed several times in the stomach and chest by a rival gang in Leyton, east London.
His aunt, Jackie Mustapha, said Paul had changed school to avoid bullies who stabbed him a year ago.
The sobbing mother-of-three said: "Ivie held Paul in her arms before he died.
"She was kissing him, cuddling him - trying to see if she could revive him.
"But there was nothing she could really do. She was there for the very last moment of his life.
"His parents put him in a different school to try to prevent something like this happening.
"We are all devastated. I will remember Paul as a lovely, affectionate boy."
Paul was attacked on Friday along with his friend Steven Mafolambi, 15, who is in a critical condition in hospital.
The pair, who we re members of a gang called the Thatched House Thugs, were found in a pool of blood yards from Paul's home in Buttermere Close.
Witnesses saw a group of 15 teenagers from neighbouring gang the Cat Hall Boys running away from the scene of the attack.
Police said that two teenagers - one 19 and the other 13 - have been arrested and a re being held in separate London police stations.
