St. F.X. University.

Shame, shame on Saint Francis Xavier University, my Alma Mater, for conferring an honorary Doctor of Laws on a promoter of the "culture of death," the millionaire socialist, Alexa McDonough. The brief article which appeared in the June 2006 issue of C.I. (News in Brief, p. 31) renewed my sadness, bordering on anger, that a university of the calibre and reputation of St. F. X. would appear to be unable to locate a more worthy candidate on whom to bestow an honorary degree.

To paraphrase a holy pontiff who, as Vicar of Christ, gave exemplary service during my lifetime, "the smoke of Satan has entered St. F. X. University." (St. Francis Xavier pray for us!) ...
