St John Ambulance workers honoured in House of Lords.

TWO members of the St John Ambulance in Huddersfield have been recognised for their work in the House of Lords.

Gary Dunsford, from Dearne Valley, and Rayne Sutcliffe, from Linthwaite, were awarded certificates for their sterling efforts during last winter's big freeze.

The pair attended a prize giving along with other St John workers where they met Baroness Emerton.

The St John Ambulance was asked to support the ambulance service by taking urgent patient admissions into hospital and helping transport staff into work during heavy snowfall.
