Sri Lanka gets relief goods consignment from Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD -- A special cargo plane from Pakistan carrying relief goods for the Sri Lankan flood victims Saturday arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport Katunayake.
The cargo plane brought the 3rd consignment of relief goods containing medicines, raincoats, rain boots, mosquito replants, shelters and tents.
These goods were identified by the Sri Lankan authorities as immediate requirements for the flood victims, said a message received here from Colombo.
Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Dr Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Sipra handed over the third consignment of relief assistance to the Ministry of Disaster Management Sri Lanka.
The consignment was received by Secretary of Ministry of Disaster Management S.S Miyanawala.
