SreiInfra Commences New Road Project In Maharashtra.
India, Aug. 19 -- The upcoming highway stretch (Part of NH-9) starts from outskirts of Solapur and ends at Maharashtra-Karnataka Border.
Solapur Tollways Private Limited, an initiative of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited commenced construction of its 100 km road project - four laning of Solapur - Maharashtra/Karnataka Border Section of NH-9 in the state of Maharashtra.
The total cost of the project is Rs. 882.62 crore. The project was awarded to Srei Infrastructure under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase III under BOT mode on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The concession period for the project is 25 years.
The upcoming highway stretch (Part of NH-9) starts from outskirts of Solapur and ends at Maharashtra-Karnataka Border, which is situated in south western part of Indian peninsula. The project road is situated in Osamnabad District of Maharashtra having a total existing length of 100.06 kms traversing the outskirts of Solapur, Boramani, Tandurwadi, Itkal, ChiwariChowk, Aandur, Naldurg, Jalkot, Dasthapur, Yengur, Dalimb, Shivajinagar, Yeli,Jakkapur, Omerga, Turori, Nellunagar, Talmadi and Manalli villages.
