Spyderco. (Knives).

The new MeerKat C64 from Spyderco is a palm-sized folder with the unique Phantom Lock system. The blade is opened as normal, using the thumbhole. To close, the rear of the handle is grasped with the thumb and forefinger at the Spyderco logo bug. By "scissoring" the thumb and forefinger, the Phantom Lock releases the blade.

The MeerKat's 1 15/16-inch blade is hollow-ground 440C or AUS-6 steel in a modified drop point or reverse "S" Cricket style. The handles are textured black FRN with finger divots. The new wire clip is ambidextrous and carries the knife tip down. The knife measures 5 1/4 inches open, 3[5/16] closed.

The new Frank Centofante Vesuvius features Spyderco's Compression Lock. The folder's black FRN handles come in two styles. One features a silver Spyderco bug, the other inlaid blue shell. The 3[1/8]-inch blade is hollow-ground ATS-34 steel that is available in PlainEdge, SpyderEdge or 50/50 combination. The knife is 5[1/4] inches long when open, 3[5/16] inches closed.
