Spreadwise: Worcester buy appeals.

WITH the spread firms shying away from adjusting their NatWest series markets immediately after Zimbabwe's 70-run victory over the West

Indies last night, punters are again left to conjure with Spreadex's County Championship match bets, writes Phil Agius.

Our strongest fixed-odds recommendations, Kent, are justifiably 10-30 favourites over Derbyshire so, instead, a buy of Worcestershire's supremacy at 10 against Nottinghamshire is advised.

Notts have added dangerous seamer David Millns to their squad, but Worcestershire should be rated favourites for this clash, despite struggling on their last outing.

County Championship supremacies - Spreadex (1pt per run or 10pts per wicket won by): 10-30 Kent/Derby (h); 35-55 Leicester/Durham; 20-40 Lancashire/Somerset (h); 10-30 Surrey/

Yorkshire; 0-20 Gloucester/Northants; 5-25

Middlesex/Glamorgan; 0-20 Sussex/Essex; 10ch Worcester/Notts.

Division One index - IG (60:40:30:25:20:15: 10:5:0): 42-45 Surrey, 39-42 Lancs, Yorks, 22-25 Leicester, 19-22 Somerset, 13-16 Kent, Durham, 6-8 Hants, 3-5 Derby. Spreadex (50:25:10):
