Sporty lingo over Twingo.

THE Renault Twingo GT, a warmed-up version of Renault's little city car, has been on the cards for a while.

The GT uses the turbocharged three-cylinder engine fitted to the more powerful version of the standard Twingo.

The motor has been tuned to produce 110bhp, 20bhp more than standard.

Not surprisingly, the chassis has been retuned for more sporty handling and the steering is recalibrated.

There are four colours to choose from including the Lunar orange you're looking at now.

The Twingo GT will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and will go on sale later in the year. No word on price yet, though.
