Sportsmen Hunt American Handgunner And GUNS Online.
The average number of hits per day at gunsmagazine.com is 24,039, up 86 percent from one year ago, according to Randy Molde, promotion director of Firearms Marketing Group (FMG), publisher of the magazines. Americanhandgunner.com is averaging 21,583 hits per day, a 73 percent increase over last year.
"Site traffic has increased tremendously," said Molde. "People are clicking over and spending time viewing the highlights of both American Handgunner and GUNS Magazine. They're discovering useful links and information that make the shooting sports more accessible to new shooters and more exciting for veteran sportsmen."
Over the past 18 months, FMG has studied browser traffic patterns and the most requested pages.
"We've seen the highest traffic in the new products and monthly feature areas of the sites," said Molde. "Another area that is generating a great deal of interest is the searchable article database. Sportsmen can search through 19 years worth of American Handgunner and GUNS Magazine issues to find specific articles on their favorite gun or shooting sports interest."
