Splash happy puddle ducks love potholes.

A TOWN has a new duck pond - in a pothole-riddled car park.
A handful of ducks have flown into the rough car park at the bottom of Knowl Road in Mirfield town centre.
Heavy rain this winter has turned potholes into lakes, perfect for a few feathered friends to have a swim.
Sherelle Peel couldn't believe it when she saw the ducks waddling around in the water.
She took these photographs of a pristine white duck floating serenely on a muddy puddle.
They caused much amusement when she posted them on Facebook group Mirfield Matters.
The car park, next to David Wood and Associates' dental surgery, opposite Mirfield Fire Station, is owned by businessman Sunny Passi, who runs the Bathroom Shop at the other end of town.
The car park is used by town centre workers and shoppers and the muddy potholes - and the ducks - have to be dodged by drivers.
Others have also seen the ducks around town. They regularly visit the car park behind the Kirkwood Hospice shop and the brown one is tame enough to be fed by hand.
But the Examiner has news that will have the ducks in a flap.
Mr Passi said the car park was due to be re-surfaced in June or July so the potholes and the puddles will be swept away.
"Letters will be going out soon to tell people what the timescales are," he said.
