SpiritSoft and HNC Software Team to Enhance Business Process Integration.

SpiritSoft today announced an alliance with HNC Software Inc. (Nasdaq: HNCS), a leading provider of high-end analytics and decision management software, to provide best-of-breed applications to the financial services and insurance sectors for critical business process integration.

As a result of this alliance, SpiritSoft and HNC have agreed to promote the use of SpiritSoft's SpiritWave technology to increase the connectivity of data sources across a network with Blaze Advisor From HNC business rules management software. SpiritWave's open JMS framework allows Blaze Advisor rule services to use information from a broad array of data sources and to interact with other systems using SpiritSoft's message-oriented middleware (MoM) component from their open JMS framework. Customer benefits from this collaborative effort include superior data integration, secure data transfer, and a more powerful tool set for rules applications.

Blaze Advisor From HNC allows companies to manage the decision processes that drive business operations by incorporating their own business rules as an independent component of an application. SpiritWave, SpiritSoft's pioneering messaging technology based on the Java Message Service (JMS), enables enterprises to leverage and integrate existing legacy systems and reuse their functionality to build robust, flexible and future-proofed applications.
