Spinning is good therapy.

Last winter was very cold, without much snow, so with two small children and no tv we were overtaxing our indoor resources each and every day! To save my sanity, I turned to spinning. I spend one evening a week hand painting my roving in brilliant hues, and then feast my eyes on the color as it waits in my spinning basket. Each evening, with kids tucked in bed, I fix a cup of tea, sit near the woodstove, and watch the color fly through my fingers into yarn on the bobbin. The wind howls outside through that white and gray world, while I rejuvenate for the next day of housework and busy kids.

My idea of heaven, and cheaper than a spa or therapy!
