Spinning Wool: Basics and Beyond.

This comprehensive video is designed for the beginning to intermediate level spinner. It begins with an explanation of a spinning wheel and how it works, and moves on to the single-drive band, double-drive band and bobbin-lead spinning wheels. The viewer learns about wheel set up, fiber preparation and the techniques of spinning. Following the introduction, the tape is divided into four lesson segments. The video workshop instructor is Patsy Zawistoski. Of course, if you want to spin along with Patsy, you will need a spinning wheel. Without a wheel to spin, you might be encouraged to go out and buy one after watching this tape.
