Speed, fun, & unparalleled performance.

This past November, BLACK ENTERPRISE and Porsche joined forces to celebrate something they have in common--intelligent performance. Professionals identified by BLACK ENTERPRISE as Intelligent Performers were invited to Leeds, Alabama, where they were honored for their business achievements. They also got to match their skills against the best in driving performance at the Porsche Sport Driving School.

Among those driving the 911 Carerra, the Cayenne, and the Panamera were Larry Barkley, Senior Vice President of Retail, Tourneau EL.C; Matthew Carter, President, 4G, Sprint; Bart H. Williams, Partner, Hunger, Tolles & Olson L.L.P.; Kevin Warren, President, U.S. Solutions, Xerox; BE 100s CEOs Tilmon F. Brown, CEO & President, New Horizon Baking Co. Inc.; R. Donahue Peebles, CEO & Chairman, The Peebles Corp.; Charles H. James III, CEO, C. H. James Restaurant Holdings L.L.C., and artist Shaffer "Ne-Yo" Smith, founder of Compound Entertainment and Compound Foundation.

Also along for the ride was the online winner of the Intelligent Performers competition JeFreda R. Brown, a real estate agent from Birmingham, Alabama. See more pictures from the event at
