Speech-enabled forms for phone users.
Designed for clinical situations ranging from small physician
practices to hospital systems, EMscribe VFx Interactive Voice Response
(IVR) automatically fills out medical forms over touch-tone telephones
via speech recognition leveraging state-of-the-art grammar technology,
so it can capture complex information, including e-mail addresses, by
utilizing voice prompts. Its speech-enabled forms include patient
intake, imaging/radiology, hip evaluation, and medical and gynecological histories. It can print captured information at the office or hospital
for medical records charting, as well as communicate with other
information systems via an HL7 interface for paperless record-keeping.
EMscribe VFx can create a speech-enabled form for any written form in
the healthcare process. It also can provide common IVR functions such as
a corporate directory, automated call distribution and voice mail.
