Spectacular setting for The Comedy of Errors.
NEXT weekend, The Lord Chamberlain's Men return to the spectacular Conwy Castle with Shakespeare's most hilarious farce, The Comedy of Errors.
Returning to North Wales' for their thirteenth year, the UK's premier all-male theatre company, invite you to join them on June 24-25.
This fantastical comedy follows two pairs of identical twins, Antipholus of Syracuse and Antipholus of Ephesus, and their servants, who are both named Dromio.
When they were babies, the twins and their parents were separated in a shipwreck; now, years later, as one half of the twins searches for the other, they unwittingly find themselves in the same city on the same day.
Peter Stickney, Artistic Director, says: "In my first full year leading the company we bring you something new. The Lord Chamberlain's Men has never performed The Comedy of Errors before, and I can't wait!
"I love coming to Conwy and can't think of anything more perfect for a summer's evening than a classical retelling of this great play set against the background of one of the nation's most stunning castles."
Saturday's performance starts at 7.30pm, and Sunday's at 6.30pm. Tickets: Adult PS14.50 Child PS8.50.
