Specifier's information.
CorusCorus have launched the Part L--SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) Advice Service as part of their ongoing commitment to added value services for the construction industry, available to specifiers through the Colorcoat Connection[R] helpline. The advice line provides specifiers with detailed advice about how the SBEM programme can be used to calculate the C[O.sub.2] emission levels for pre-finished steel clad industrial or commercial buildings. Specifiers can access a free guidance service from recognised industry experts. The service is at www.colorcoat-online.com.

Wrightstyle
We detonated two explosive charges against this glass facade. The first equivalent to a lorry bomb; then shortly after a second blast equivalent to a car bomb. It passed both. Wrightstyle is proud to announce the world's first multi pane glass and glazing system to be tested against the very worst that could happen. The curtain wall system includes stunning features: externally flush facade, internal 60mm sight lines, large span capacity, and all achieved with only 17mm glass edge cover.

SAS International
Wembley Park Underground Station was extended and modernised to serve the Wembley National Stadium and area. Pascall+Watson Architects designed a scheme greatly increasing the passenger throughput and facilities. SAS International's Tubeline system was specified for the public concourse areas. These are semi-external spaces where ceilings are exposed to dust and high levels of humidity. The ceiling had to be low maintenance. SAS's durable Tubeline system consists of 50mm diameter extruded aluminium tubes with powder-coated finish.

Flowcrete
Flowcrete has pioneered a system that creates a durable shiny floor finish. It has developed a method of using the floor finish Peran SL, with a high-performance sealer, to create an extra glossy surface. Colour and shine--Peran SL comes in a wide range of shades from vibrant primary colours through to pastel hues--can be brought to any floorzone. The flooring system was installed at a prestigious location in Sydney, Australia--a project that involved the renovation of an existing facility into a suite of offices in Australia Square, a prime office development in the city centre.
