This fully upholstered armchair has a wrap around form, separate seat and cantilevered backrest, with new low profile polished aluminium base. With its synchro-tilt mechanism for generous recline, progressive side tension and integral fixed armrests, 'Rhapsody' provides the very best in comfort. It is also available as a cantilevered meeting chair and with an integral headrest.
Screen Solutions have provided reflection screens for the Microsoft sales and administration HQ on the outskirts of Moscow. Screen Solutions were selected primarily as they were able to deliver a custom-made solution to unify desks from different manufacturers. Reflection is an elegant stacking screen with an aluminium frame, which provides a fabric-to-fabric solution to give a light soft visual appearance. Reflection allows effective communication between staff, while maintaining a degree of privacy from an individual workstation.
The Scenaric Daylight from Hacel is designed to recreate the appearance of natural illumination. The Virtual Daylight[R] lens provides excellent ambient light encouraging the creation of vibrant schemes while being sympathetic to the latest screen technologies. CMS Acoustic Solutions
CMS Acoustic Solutions is set to restore market confidence in specifying tiled floor finishes with the launch of Regupol Acousti-Tile, the first approved acoustic tiling system. Independent testing of the system, developed with Regupol manufacturer, BSW and Building Adhesives, has shown that it meets Part E regulations and complies with The Tiling Association's Coefficient of Restitution figure. Regupol Acousti-Tile, including a high performance acoustic underlay, floor and tile adhesives and grout, is available from CMS Acoustics.
As part of the [pounds sterling]24m development of Crawley Leisure Centre, West Sussex, 2000[m.sup.2] of Junckers press dried Beech SylvaSport Premium was used to create the multi-purpose sports floor, a training facility for the 2012 London Olympics. A dojo and several aerobics areas have also been fitted using Junckers flooring over the UnoBat 62+ system. The sports hall floor was laid using Junckers' new UnoBAT 50 single-layer batten system, which has an installation height of only 50mm. This is one of three new sports flooring systems from Junckers.
Corus has launched a revised version of its Repertoire[R] online product selection and colour-matching tool, which could revolutionise the way architects select building envelopes. The free, interactive tool allows architects to mix and match different cladding colours and profiles, enabling them to test their ideas on virtual buildings before placing an order. Repertoire can be found at the Corus website. A whole new level of functionality has been added to the service which architects, piloting the new version, have enthusiastically welcomed.
The new glass brochure from Wrightstyle gives an overview on the whole range of specialist architectural glasses. The collection includes fire, bullet and blast resistant specifications. The involvement of Wrightstyle in the architectural systems market is extensive, with global knowledge in the specification, testing, development and supply of glass products, specifically designed to be used in association with their comprehensive steel glazing systems. Simplicity and flexibility were important criteria in the design of Riverstone's office space. It was also imperative to create a light, minimalist yet striking environment to impress clients and employees alike. To meet these requirements Paul Mullins Associates specified Komfort's Polar partitioning system in its single and double glazed form. The minimal framework and transparency of Polar made it an apt choice. The glass manifestation combining a positive and negative effect added intrigue to the overall scheme.
