Green fibre cement slates from Marley Eternit's 'Rivendale' range have been used on an award-winning new housing development built by Machynys Homes in South Wales. Marley Eternit's Rivendale slates were specified because their green colouring ensured that the development's roofscape would blend with the rural surroundings. Marley Eternit's Rivendale slate is a premium one within its extensive range, being designed with a textured surface and dressed edge to best replicate natural slate.

The Pageant from Hacel Lighting's Desire catalogue is a highly stylised, die-cast aluminium powerspot available in surface, single and three circuit track versions. Four light sources, three reflector beam widths and various wattages make the product eminently suitable for accent lighting in retail environments and architecturally stimulating projects. Hacel's product range is designed and manufactured in the UK.
Pioneer Point, one of the largest logistics centres in the UK, has been completed in Ellesmere Port, Fletcher Architects settled on Corus Colorcoat HPS200[R] pre-finished steel to clad the development. The building has a banded facade in three colours--Merlin, Hamlet and Goosewing--while features such as the building's corners were fitted out in Wedgewood Blue. The colour and durability of Colorcoat HPS200 made it ideal for the exposed salty conditions of the Mersey estuary. The product is backed by Corus Confidex[R] Guarantee.
Junkers have developed and tested two specialist acoustic systems for use over concrete sub-floors in residential buildings. Offering significant time savings, both systems conform to Document E of the UK Building Regulations, and as such mean that contractors need no longer carry out pre-completion acoustic testing. The Acoustic Cradle system is ideal for areas where the sub-floor is uneven, and height is not an issue. If height is an issue, then the Clip System can be used over a 5mm CA2 underlay.
Naturelle, a brand new surface finish designed to enhance the realism and appeal of Woodgrains, has been added to the Formica high pressure laminate range. Naturelle was introduced as part of the new 'Range Additions 2006' selection, which complements and extends 'The Collection' from Formica.
