Dalsouple

Dalsouple rubber in soft green and blue, with an anti-slip micro textured finish, has been specified by architects Adjaye Associates for the much praised Idea Store library and learning centre in Whitechapel. The rubber is used throughout the entrance foyer and book sections of the building. Dalsouple makes rubber flooring in a huge range of colours and textures. There are 70 colours in the standard range, and Dalsouple will also match any special colour. All the colours are available in any of the 30 textures.

Wrightstyle

Blast Resistant Doors by Wrightstyle are designed and made to meet a specified positive blast pressure, based on design calculations certified by independent Engineering Consultants, in accordance with industry standards. The doors are designed to withstand a dynamic pressure loading, calculated by location, equipment being protected, and above all life preservation. Blast Resistant Doors can be designed to meet specifications with differing static and dynamic pressures, to meet the requirements of oil, gas, and petrochemical projects.

Formica

Formica is delighted to announce the winners of the 2005 Formica Design a Laminate Competition at www.designalaminate.com. This open competition has for the second year given individuals the opportunity to be part of an interior design classic. Asprey, the ultimate British luxury lifestyle house, specified Armourcoat Surface Finishes to add the finishing touch to the refurbishment of its London flagshop store. Designed by Norman Foster and British interior designer David Mlinaric, the original facade of eighteenth-century houses has been brought to life under a glass atrium, creating a well thoughtout and opulent retail environment. Armourcoat Smooth polished plaster was used to accentuate stunning design features, including a graceful central spiral staircase.
