Speaker Of Kurdistan Parliament: Writing The Constitution Needs A National Consensus.

Sulaimaniyah / NINA /- President of the Kurdistan Parliament said: "The writing of the Constitution in the region needs to coordinate and national consensus among all political parties." A source in the PUK said: "The Deputy Secretary-General Kosert Rasul met with the Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, Rawaz Faeq, where they discussed the current situation in the region and efforts to achieve reforms." The source quoted Riaz as saying: "The parliament should have an influential role in solving the problems between the Kurdistan region and Baghdad." "We need a constitution at all times and parliament is working on that," she said, stressing that "writing the constitution needs a national consensus." She pointed out: "The parliament is the umbrella of votes and colors and needs the coordination of all political parties to resolve outstanding problems and dilemmas."/ End
