Speaker KP Assembly for paying attention to agriculture sector.

PESHAWAR -- Speaker Provincial Assembly Asad Qaiser Tuesday stressed upon provincial agriculture department to pay attention to agricultural sector of the province for economic revival.

Presiding over a high level meeting here at Assembly Secretariat, he said that the industrial sector had faced huge setback in the province due to certain circumstances and many people shifted to agricultural sector therefore the government should have to pay attention in this sector.

Referring to district Swabi, he said Swabi is basically agricultural area and initiatives should be taken to bring maximum land under cultivation for prosperity and economic revival in the province.

Speaking on the occasion provincial agriculture minister Ikramullah Khan Gandapur said the provincial government is paying attention to agriculture sector, adding that all available resources are being utilized to bring agricultural revolution in KP.

He said that completion of Gomal Zam project would help cultivate hundreds of acre land in the province.
