The XIIth Andalousian Congress on Psychology of Physical Activity and Sports was held Nov. 12-14, 2009, in Jaen (Andaloussia, Spain). This event was organized by the Andalousian Society of Sport Psychology, and University Pablo Olavide of Seville, Spain. The Congress embraced as main topics of discussion those of Health and Physical Activity; International Networking in Sport Psychology; and Motivation in Elite Athletes. Among others, the conference brought in together as invited speakers: Alexandre Garcia-Mas (University of the Balearic Islands, Spain), Jose C. Jaenes Sanchez (University of Pablo de Olavide), Raimundo Prieto Mendoza (Clinic Doctor of the under-20 Spanish Basketball National Team), Miguel Angel Morales Cevidanes (University of Pablo de Olavide), and Ana Garcia Leon (University of Jaen).
