Spain has plenty to attract buyers; Janet Tansley finds out how to protect your investment.

WITH history, culture, sand, sea and plenty of sunshine, it's little wonder Spain is so popular with Brits looking for their warm-weather escape from the damp UK summer.

But how do you make sure your investment is safe?
