Soya in Canada - Bibliography and Sourcebook: 1855-1993.

This spiral bound book has been specially published to celebrate the centenary of soybean cultivation in Canada. Its scope includes all aspects of the subject from 1855 to the present day.

As with other books from the same publishers, it lists all known documents and commercial products in chronological order concerning soya 'matters'. Compiled over a 17-year period, the bibliographic records in this book feature the author, date, title, volume, author's address, number of references cited and the original title of all non English language publications together with an English translation of the title, month and issue of publication. It also includes details of 221 commercial soy products including the product name, date of introduction, manufacturers' name, address and ingredients used, type of packaging, weight and storage requirements, nutritional composition and even a label description.

To make the best use of this text, the publishers have provided a subject/geographical index, a language index and bibliometric analysis of the composition of the book.
