Soviet collapse has put us at risk.

DO any of your readers feel as I do that the defeat and demise of the Soviet Union was not such a good thing for the West.

At least Russia had things organised and 'ticking over'. If only the USA hadn't been so paranoid about communism.

Why couldn't they mind their own business and spend their trillions of dollars on Americans? All they could think of was to defeat the fictitious Evil Empire. The Soviet Union had its Gulag Archipelago but the western powers, including Britain, propped up gangsters who kept their people down.

The results of bringing down communist Russia are plain to see. We sowed the wind and are now reaping the whirlwind. The walls came down and 300m migrants now look for opportunities in the West.
