Southwest Securities FSB has appointed Scott Anderson as the vice president of its commercial lending division.

Anderson, who has more than 20 years of banking experience, has most recently served as vice president and senior business banker at Capital One Bank (NYSE: COF). He started his banking career with NationsBank of Texas and later worked for four years with Bank One/JP Morgan Chase (NYSE: JPM).

Southwest Securities FSB is the commercial banking unit of Dallas-based diversified financial group SWS Group (NYSE:SWS).
