Southwest Airlines to utilise Interpolls' Rich Media Widget for advertising campaign.


Interpolls, a rich-media and integrated marketing-technologies company, announced on Monday that it is partnering Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) and Microsoft to launch new online elements to the carrier's current advertising campaign.

The "Grab Your Bag, It's On" campaign is currently running on the Microsoft Mobile platform, billboards, magazines and exclusive Fox Sports online properties. Southwest and Interpolls are expanding it to websites such as MSN, MSNBC and Windows Live. New features are also being introduced on Fox Sports' online "OT" show and Pro Football Pick 'em game.

Southwest Airlines is, for the first time, incorporating Interpolls' Rich Media Widget technology into its online advertising initiatives. This will allow users to "grab" the widget from websites, "share" it with friends and "place" it on personal pages such as Facebook or MySpace.

The Rich Media Widget advertisement includes features such as a Southwest current promotional Bags Fly Free video, information of sweepstakes, an instant booking form, newsletter sign-up, Twitter content and live

news and video blog feeds.
