Southwest Airlines launches free pedicab rides along with summer sponsorship of events in Skyline Park.

Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) announced on Friday that it is launching a partnership with Mile High Pedicabs to offer free rides over the next six months.

The airline said that residents of Denver should look-out for a fleet of 25 Southwest-branded pedicabs and a "FREE RIDES" flag on the back to indicate when the ride is free, courtesy of Southwest.

Additionally the airline is sponsoring movies and concerts in Skyline Park with the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) throughout July and August and has also teemed up with the Denver Cupcake Truck to give away 250 free cupcakes during the movies.
