South Korean delegation calls on KP ministers.
Peshawar -- South Korean ambassador to Pakistan Sung Kyu Kwak accompanied by Honorary council general called on meeting with KP ministers including Minister for tourism Atif Khan, KP Finance Minister Saleem Jhagra and Minister for works Akbar Ayub Khan on Saturday to discuss bilateral relations.
During the meeting, South Korean ambassador agreed on provision of funds for development projects including energy, transportation, sanitation, and water in rural and urban areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Korean delegation also met with energy and power secretary Zahir Ali Shah and planning and development secretary Zahir Shah and assured them that their government is ready to give grants in different development projects in KP.
545 mega watts Kaika, 215 mega watts Asrit Kadem, 197mega watts kalam asrit and 496 mega watts low spot valvi projects including Korean company's projects had come under discussion during the meeting.
They assured KP government of their complete cooperation in Korean company project including 215 mega watts Asrit Kadam Hydro project and asked that low spot valvi project of WAPDA with generating capacity of 496 mega watts will be handed over to Korean company.
