South Korean companies to build solar power plant in Kazakhstan for almost $20 million.

Turkestan region governor Janseit Tuimebaev met the delegation of South Korean businessmen led by top manager of the KK-KIUNSEN to discuss investment projects in the region.

"We know South Korea as the country of developed technologies, agriculture and production. I am convinced we will be able to establish contacts in this spheres and will strengthen friendly ties between our countries. Turkstestan region is the best place for development of business. The region grants various privileges and opportunities for investors willing to work in the region and launch new projects," the governor said.

South Korean businessman said they plan construction of 10 MW solar power plant in Baidibek district. The project will require $19.86 million. 50 new jobs will be created.
