CASES dealt with by Birmingham Magistrates on January 9 included:

Sabrina Carr, 28, of Holdgate Road, Weoley Castle, destroying pane of glass to the value of pounds 50, two counts of failing to surrender to custody' conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay pounds 50, fined pounds 25 and ordered to pay pounds 55 court costs. Pritpal Chana, 34, of Calder Grove,

Handsworth Wood, damaging a glass light fitting to the value of pounds 10' conditional discharge for 12 months, pay pounds 10 compensation and pounds 55 court costs. Lucina Berry, 27, of The Moors, Castle Bromwich, driving under the influence of drink or drugs' fined pounds 100, disqualified from driving for 12 months, ordered to pay pounds 50 court costs.

Mohammed Hussain, 19, Wavers Marton, Marston Green, driving a Citroen in Coventry Road while disqualified from driving, without insurance or valid MoT certificate' committed to prison for 105 days, disqualified from driving for 36 months. Christopher Morton, 25, of Long Meadow Crescent, Shard End, assault by beating'

committed to prison for two months. Della O'Halloran, 26, of Rodney Close, Ladywood, breached anti-social behaviour order by entering Broad Street, Birmingham' conditional discharge for six months.

Zaffar Iqbal, 35, of Washwood Heath Road, Ward End, committing a breach of the Sexual Offences Act by failing to notify police of a change of address' community order, perform 150 hours unpaid work, pay court costs of pounds 95. Tamiah Cabey, 23, of Bunbury Road, Northfield, using threatening or abusive behaviour' community order, attend probation service appointment for 18 months, pay pounds 95 court costs. Charles Lafferty, 19, of Jarvis Road, Erdington, theft of three letters containing debit cards and cheque books to the value of pounds 300 belonging to Halifax Bank' community order, 100 hours' community service, pay pounds 175 court costs.

Tracey Organ, 35, of Masefield Square, Northfield, theft of pounds 26.97 picture frames at WH Smith' community order for 18 months, attend probation service appointments for 18 months. Michael Tucker, 40, of Shadwell Street, Birmingham, theft of pounds 115 DKNY jumper at Selfridges and pounds 60 men's shoes at Zara' community order for 24 months, attend probation service appointments for 24 months, attend Think First programme and pay pounds 75 court costs.
