South African Society of Reproductive Science and Surgery.

The International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) conference is to be held in Durban on 29 April--3 May 2007. Exceptional academic and social programmes are on offer, and this will be the first conference to be staged on the African continent by the IFFS.

We hope that with this conference the SASRSS will honour the theme of its bid: 'Spreading expertise of our discipline into the rest of Africa; supporting a considerable number of disadvantaged delegates from the rest of Africa to the event; and contributing to the extensive outreach programme of our Federation to the rest of the world.'

We are sure that Durban, the International Convention Centre and our highly professional conference organiser will live up to the highest expectations, and that the activities that have been developed, preconference and post-conference tours and accompanying persons' programmes will contribute to an unforgettable experience.
