South Africa : SCTA to organize Saudi-Korean handicraft expo in Riyadh.

SCTA in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture Sport and Tourism of South Korea, will organize a cultural and heritage exhibition under the slogan "Saudi-Korean handicraft expo" at the 'Visiting Exhibits Hall' in the National Museum at the King Abdul Aziz Historic Center in Riyadh from Nov 22 to Dec 24, 2013.

The report adds that the joint exhibition will consist of two pavilions, one for presenting Korean handicraft to the people and society of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an important entity in the Middle East and the second pavilion will present Saudi handicraft, raising the awareness on the importance of crafts and introduce some of Saudi handmade products.

This exhibition is the first cooperative project of its kind between the two countries in this field as recently SCTA and the Ministry of Culture Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Korea had signed the executive program for enhancing cooperation efforts between the two countries in the field of tourism and handicraft.

The Saudi-Korean exhibition is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and it is expected to pave the way for further cultural exchange between the two countries in the future.
