He was elected and served as Council Member of ECSA for the 2009-2012 term.
This humble and approachable scholar, Engineer of the year 2016 is based in Johannesburg but originally hails from Umthwalume KwaQwabe in KwaZulu-Natal. He has come to be known by his peers for his critical understanding of fundamental engineering principles that contributes to the enrichment of the engineering field both as researcher and scholar, yet he has lost little if any of his humility despite his colourful accolades. We salute Dr Mbuli and urge him to continue holding torch shining high.
